Georgians Demand More Information On Crime Statistics

Atlanta, GA
Amid rising crime rates, the decreased ability of law enforcement agencies to protect citizens and public admissions by local politicians that the state is unsafe, many Georgia residents and civic organizations are demanding better access to information on crime statistics.

Some Seek More Crime Reports

Statistics wanted: Those trying to get information to try to determine trends in neighborhoods can run into obstacles.

By Megan Matteucci, Tim Eberly

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Sunday, April 12, 2009

Fred Pangle uses a neighborhood map, Post-it notes and word-of-mouth to track crime statistics in his Rex subdivision.

The handyman said he maps crime for his Amberwood Neighborhood Association because he can’t get enough information from the Clayton County Police Department.

“They say they can’t tell us anything unless you’re the victim,” Pangle said. “Maybe if we had crime statistics, people might come to the realization of how unsafe it is and know what’s really going on.”

Under the Georgia Open Records Act, almost all initial crime incident reports are open to public review. Across the metro area, people get individual reports every day —- mostly for use in traffic cases or incidents in which they were victims.

But amid rising interest in crime rates, residents, civic groups or even reporters trying to determine broader trends in neighborhoods can find that getting information is more complicated.

Several county departments, including Clayton, Cobb and Gwinnett, generally limit access to reports on a specific incident or for a specific address. There is no ready access to incident logs.

“Open records law does not require an agency to allow open inspection of bulk or all reports,” said Cpl. Illana Spellman of Gwinnett County police. “Open records law requires that if a specific report is requested and is open to public disclosure, that the information be released.”

That’s wrong, said Hollie Manheimer, executive director of the Georgia First Amendment Foundation. Initial incident and arrest reports, she said, “are the classic public record. All of them are open, immediately and always, for public inspection.”

Winter Storm Hits Atlanta With Snow, Winds And Power Outages

Atlanta, GA
A winter storm has brought wind and snow to northern Georgia resulting in road hazards, power outages and school closing across metro-Atlanta. The snow moved in early Sunday morning and is expected to continue through Monday.

The storm had blanketed Alabama with four inches of snow on Saturday and the northern Georgia area can expect anywhere from two to four inches.

High winds and fallen trees coupled with the weight of the snow on power lines have knocked out electricity for nearly 5,000 residents of Butts, Spaulding and Gwinnett counties and additional outages are expected throughout the night as the snow continues to fall and the high winds increase.

Six Flags amusement park postponed it's season opening that was scheduled for today. The Atlanta History Center and the Atlanta Zoo have also announced closings due to the hazardous weather conditions. Many churches have canceled Sunday evening services and numerous businesses, school districts and government agencies have announced closing for Monday.

Police Evacuate Local Electronics Store After Shoplifter Claims To Have A Gun

Smyrna, GA
At least three stores in the Promenade shopping center were evacuated Thursday night after Smyrna police responded to a report of a shoplifter with a weapon at the Best Buy store on Cobb Parkway.

Otis Hutcherson, a 51 year old negro from Atlanta attempted to shoplift eight DVDs from the electronics retailer and claimed to have a gun to have a gun when confronted by store staff.

Police evacuated the store and two adjoining businesses after Hutherson went into the Best Buy office and fled into the ceiling of the building. “It would’ve been unsafe for an officer to just pop his head up through one of the panels not knowing whether the suspect had a gun,” said Michael Smith, spokesman for the Smyrna Police Department.

After a 90 minute stand off, Hutcherson came down from the ceiling and was taken into custody. Police later determined that the suspect was not armed. Huctherson was arrested on charges of shoplifing and may face other charges.

Hispanic Teen Arrested In Cobb County Hiking Trail Attack

Powder Springs, GA
Police in Powder Springs have arrested a 19 year old hispanic man in connection with a violent attack and another attempted robbery that occurred on a local hiking trail in the Cobb County town earlier this week.

Carlos Bracamonte was arrested on Thursday night and charged in connection with the assaults which took place along the Silver Comet Trail.

On Monday a Cobb County man reported that he was approached on the trail by a hispanic and four black men who demanded money, patted him down and released him after finding that he was carrying no cash.

As the man fled the area he came across another man, bloodied and beaten lying along the trail. Police reports indicate that the man was also attacked by the same perpetrators. He was treated for severe injuries at a local hospital and later released.

Then on Wednesday, the man who was beaten was again approached by four men dressed in black and wearing masks near Forest Hill Road. He was warned not to speak of the attack, one of the masked men telling him “We seen you on TV. Don’t be running that mouth", as they attacked him for a second time punching and kicking him.

Bracamonte's bail was set at $5,000 and he is being held in the Cobb County jail. Police are still searching for the four black men and say they may have been driving a white Chevrolet Caprice Classic with a drive-out tag during the attacks.

Cobb County Commissioner Accused Of Bouncing Checks To VooDoo Priestess

Marietta, GA
A voodoo priestess in South Carolina claims that Cobb County Commissioner Annette Kesting sought her help in defeating political opponent, and paid for the services with bad checks.

George Ann Mills of Blythewood, SC says that Kesting approached her in August and paid for a "voodoo curse" to be placed on the Commissioner's Democratic opponent, Woody Thompson.

Mills claims Kesting asked if the voodoo priestess "saw cancer" in Thompson, and upon being told that Thompson looked healthy, Mills says Kesting asked "Is there anything you can do about this … give him cancer, or make him have an accident or something?"

Mills declined to cause illness or death to the unsuspecting Thompson, but says she accepted $3000.00 in the form of two checks from Kesting to "make trouble" for Thompson. The checks bounced and Mills says she later received two money orders from Kesting's husband for $1000.00 each.

“I kept a paper trail of everything,” Mills said. “I don’t think this would have ever come out if I had been paid.”

Kesting has denied the allegations, saying she knows nothing of the money orders, had not visited a witch doctor and doesn't know anyone in South Carolina. She also says that her cell phone provider has removed charges from her account for calls placed to her phone by Mills.

Woody Thompson defeated Kesting in an August run off election and will face Republican Barbara Hickey on Nov. 4 for the southwest Cobb County Commission seat.

Gas Prices Soar Across Metro Atlanta

Atlanta, GA
Fuel prices in metro Atlanta skyrocketed to over $5 per gallon in some areas Friday afternoon as wholesalers and retailers anticipated potential damage to refineries in the Gulf region from the approaching hurricane.

One Ingles Gas Express store in Lawrenceville was charging as much as $5.25 cents per gallon on Friday. That price later dropped to $4.51 per gallon, then dropped again to $4.35, which was still nearly $1.00 higher than yesterday's average price per gallon in the Atlanta area.

A spokesperson for Ingles said the dramatic rise in price was related to the company's purchase of five tankers of gasoline on Thursday at an inflated rate, and that the company was passing that cost along to it's customers.

Black Community Demands Closing Of Theme Park Due To Black Violence

Marietta, GA
Members of Cobb County's black community, including District 4 Commissioner Annette Kesting and former Atlanta City Councilman Derrick Boazman have issued a statement demanding that Six Flags close it's Austell, GA amusement park due to black violence in the area.

This comes less than a week after a black street gang calling themselves the Get Money Clique attacked three other blacks near a bus stop outside the park's property, severely injuring one of the victims.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported earlier last week that the gang was looking for a White person to attack when they encountered the three black teens and attacked them in lieu of Whites.

Quote From AJC article:

A Cobb police report said that Gerard and Joshua Martin and another teenager, Devin Antonio Carter, all of Marietta, were walking to a CCT bus stop on Tuesday when they passed a group of 10 to 15 young black males. As they got close to the bus stop, the group approached the three boys and "told them they were looking for a white male who had something offensive to them," according to the incident report.

So just when was it exactly that Six Flags or other businesses became responsible for the violent actions of the black community?

Black Violence At Six Flags

Cobb County, GA
Earlier this week a group of feral negroes attacked and severely injured another negro at a bus stop near the Six Flags Over Georgia amusement park. According to a report issued by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the pack of negroes originally sought a White person to assault, but settled for attacking other negroes instead.

Quote:

A Cobb County teenager remained in intensive care Friday after he was viciously attacked by more than a dozen teens outside Six Flags of Georgia three days earlier.

Joshua Martin, 19, was still unconscious with brain injuries after the beating Tuesday, which police called an "unprovoked" attack.

Martin was waiting at a bus stop outside the park with his brother and a friend when a group of 10 to 15 teens knocked him to the ground and attacked him until he lost consciousness, said Cobb County police Sgt. Dana Pierce.

Reached on his cell phone, Gerard Martin said his brother, Joshua, was still in intensive care on Friday. But he appeared to be getting better. "He's kind of in and out ....," he said. "He's stuck in the clouds right now." He said his brother has spoken "a little."

Who Let All These God Damned Niggers In The Mall?

Remember when you could go out with your family for a nice Saturday afternoon at the shopping mall? Lunch from the food court, browsing at the shops and maybe even a movie used to make for an enjoyable day out with the family.

Thanks to government imposed diversity, the malls are no longer safe for you or your family due to negro violence. Since January there have been at least 11 instances of violent negro crime inside Atlanta area malls or in the parking lots.

January 24, 2007 Anthony Troy Lewis and Cicely Ophelia Scott pulled a smash and grab robbery at a jewelry store inside the Gallery at South Dekalb, formerly known as South Dekalb Mall. This took place at about 4pm on a weekday afternoon. While fleeing the scene Lewis, 32, and Scott, 22, encountered an off duty Dekalb County police sergeant. The officer drew his weapon and Lewis shot him in the leg and a shootout ensued as the negro fled to his van. Mall security guards smashed the van with a truck as Lewis and Scott attempt to exit the parking lot.

“My mom was like get down, just get down, I don't want to have to go to the hospital, I don't want you to get shot or nothin’,” a witness said.

February 14, 2007 Roderick Bernard Jones, 22, opened fire in the parking lot of the same mall, the Gallery at South Dekalb, shooting another negro after an altercation a little after 6pm on a Wednesday evening. The suspect was on the run for several days before being apprehended. Another negro was also being sought in connection with this shooting.

Following this incident the Dekalb police force brought out a mobile command unit and set it up in the parking lot of the mall in an attempt to quell the violence perpetrated in the area by feral negroes.

March 7, 2007 Dekalb police chief Terrell Bolton tripled the size of the county's anti gang task force (added 10 officers) and imposed a midnight curfew for children under 16 years of age in an effort to keep violent black teens off the streets. Officers targeted several area malls to enforce the curfew including Stonecrest, South Dekalb, Northlake, North Dekalb and others. On March 23, Arbor Place Mall imposed their own curfew, anyone under 18 years of age will have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the mall after 6pm.

Bolton promised more security at local malls and shopping centers and asked parents of teens to think twice before "you drop them off at these malls with no other purpose than to just hang out."

March 27, 2007 customers at Barnacles, a sports bar at Stonecrest Mall in Lithonia, witnessed a shooting as they dined on the patio in the early evening hours. A negro in a white car pulled into the parking lot somewhat erratically and parked across three parking spaces. A short time later another negro walked up to the car wearing a sock hat and a scarf covering his face and shot negro in the car and fled the scene in another vehicle. This negro has yet to be apprehended.

March 28, 2007 three armed negroes hijacked a truck driver at the loading dock of the Macy's store at North Point Mall around midnight. They beat the driver and stole a truck and trailer containing over $750,000 in merchandise belonging to Macy's.

The cab was found a short time later that morning, but it took investigators some time to locate the trailer. Yesterday, police arrested 36 year old Quintonia Dawson after he returned to the trailer while it was under surveillance. Dawson has been charged with armed robbery and kidnapping. Two other suspects are still being sought.

Also arrested yesterday were Arthur Demond Thomas, 26, and Jasper Jamal Walton, 19. Since January these two specimens have been assaulting women, including elderly women and pregnant women in the parking lots of Phipps Plaza and Lenox Square Mall, and robbing them at gunpoint. They are charged in seven cases in which police say the robbed the women of rings valued at more than $10,000 each. In one incident they robbed a 56 year old woman of $60,000 worth of jewelry. Community leaders in the city of Buckhead had recently offered a $15,000 reward for information leading to arrests in the case.

Then just this afternoon, 3 people were shot inside Greenbriar Mall about 5:15pm. Apparently several negroes entered a store in the mall, early reports said a Buster Brown shoe store while some later reports mention the Glitz jewelry store, and attempted to rob the store.

"I saw a whole lot of people, they were scattered, they were knocking down chairs and tables, they were trying to get somewhere out of the way, they were trying to get away from the gunshots," said a witness.

Three people including an mall security guard have been taken to Grady Memorial hospital. Two are listed in stable condition while one is in critical condition.

So, I'll ask again. Who let all these god damned niggers in the mall?

Georgia Goes Soft On Jews, But They're Still Crying

Atlanta, GA
Earlier this month the Anti Defamation League, a jewish terrorist group which supports worldwide zionist domination, issued a press release stating that anti-semitic incidents in Georgia during 2006 were below the national average.

The report says anti-semitic incidents were down 12 percent nationally from 2005 and cites 21 incidents, out of a nation wide total of 1554 incidents, claimed to have taken place in Georgia. These incidents consisted of 12 instances of harassment and 9 instances of vandalism allegedly perpetrated against Georgia jews by non-jews. This is contrary to recent claims by the group stating that anti-semitic attacks were up drastically worldwide.

"The fact that only 21 reports of anti-semitic incidents were reported in Georgia last year is encouraging," said the zionist terrorist group's Southeast Regional Director Bill Nigut. "But even that number is too many when you understand that each act reflects the perpetrator's overt hostility toward jews."

Ironically, the ADL was founded in the early 1900s by New York jews, for the specific purpose of defending and advancing deviant jewish interests, after Leo Frank murdered a young White girl in 1913 at the Atlanta Pencil Factory. Frank, a northern jew and president of the Atlanta B'nai B'rith, raped and murdered 13 year old Mary Phagan, who worked at the factory where Frank was a manager. Frank, with the other jews from B'nai B'rith backing him up, first tried placing blame for the atrocious crime on an anonymous negro. At Frank's trial, the factory's negro janitor, Jim Conley testified that Frank had murdered the girl and instructed him to hide the body with a note blaming a "light skinned negro".

Frank was convicted of murdering Mary Phagan and sentenced to death by hanging. Several appeals were filed and denied, however B'nai B'rith and their newly formed, child raping murderer Leo Frank inspired ADL began a relentless campaign to pressure the Governor of Georgia to commute the sentence. In 1915, when the Governor gave in to the pressure being applied to his administration by the jews and commuted Frank's sentence to life in prison, a group of Georgians decided to serve Frank up a dose of southern street justice. Within days, they seized the murderous jew from the Georgia Work Farm Prison in Milledgeville, brought him to Marietta and hung him in an oak tree on Frey Gin Road.

This was the beginning of a reign of anti-White hatred, jewish supremacism and zionist terrorism unleashed on the world by the jews of B'nai B'rith and the ADL which has lasted for more than 90 years. To this day, zionist worldwide proclaim Frank's innocence. Unfortunately for them, the testimony is on record. The facts are that the jew Leo Frank demanded sex from a 13 year old White girl who was under his supervision. When she refused he raped and murdered her then blamed it on a negro. The ADL was founded to defend and promote this type of jewish behavior and has continued to do so for nearly a century. Pedophilia, rape and murder. This is part of what the ADL stands for, it's the reason it was created.

Negro Cult Members Sentenced To Life Plus 30 Years for Murdering Their Own Son

Marietta, GA
Two negro members of the Remnant Fellowship Church, a religious cult based in Franklin, Tennessee, were sentenced today for the vicious beating death of their 8 year old son. Josef Smith died in October 2003 after being beaten and locked inside a wooden box by his parents, Sonya and Joseph Smith.

The parents had originally claimed that their son had passed out during a family prayer meeting which the cult conducted over the internet, and never regained consciousness. Testimony during the trial revealed that corporal punishment was part of the cult's doctrine and that the boy's death was a result of such punishment. The cult's headquarters were raided by police in connection with the murder investigation.

The Smith's were each sentenced to life plus 30 years in prison for the murder of their son.

Faculty Asks Attorney General To Look Into Shady Asian Dealings At KSU

Kennesaw, GA
Faculty members at Georgia's Kennesaw State University have asked State Attorney General Thurbert Baker to conduct a criminal investigation into the conduct of Yiping Wan, who resigned as dean at the college in late February.

Although the Attorney General's office has acknowledged receiving the letter from faculty members which states, "It is now time to move forward with a thorough criminal investigation that we are certain will uncover fraud, graft and corruption involving state funds," a spokesman for the office gives no indication that the State will in fact investigate the matter.

An internal audit released last month by the Board of Regents at KSU states that Wan:

• Granted 16 international students out-of-state tuition waivers worth $75,438 in "a potentially incorrect application" of guidelines for such waivers. After three semesters at KSU, nearly half the 16 have yet to pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language.

• Authorized more than $115,000 in expenses "with minimal reporting ... or oversight." The $115,000 — including some state money — came through an association housed at KSU that seeks to improve teacher education in China and the United States.

• Steered $500 in state money to WM Group LLC, a company his wife founded, for consulting services — which "consisted of making a phone call ... to arrange a meeting" and translating during that meeting.

• Failed to account for money spent during a trip to China. More than $34,000 in state money paid for that 17-day trip, which included two days at an education conference "but largely consisted of touring various cities in China." The report says "Wan personally collected and held cash funds to cover a portion of the trip expenses, but he was unable to substantiate that all of these funds were expended for that purpose." Trip deposits in prior years were made payable to his wife's company.

• Received reimbursement for meals at upscale restaurants, such as $424 at Ray's on the River in Atlanta, $462 at Aqua Blue in Roswell and $660 for seven people dining at a restaurant in Las Vegas.

"Barbie Bandits" Had Drug Habit And Jungle Fever

Marietta, GA
Cobb County police have arrested four people in connection with a robbery at a Bank of America branch inside a grocery store in Acworth. During the holdup the girls, dubbed the Barbie Bandits, wore dark sunglasses, chatted and laughed as they handed a teller a note demanding money and waited for the cash a little after noon on Tuesday. The girls left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. They were originally thought to have been as young as sixteen years old.

Today, Cobb County police chased two White females fitting the descriptions of the bandits and a negro male into nearby Douglas County where the three were pulled over by Douglas County police and turned over to Cobb County.

Police say they have charged Ashley Miller (pictured left) and Heather Johnston, both 19, and negro bank teller Benny Herman Allen III, 22, with felony theft and marijuana possession. Also arrested was the negro driver, Michael Chastang, whom the girls were riding with when captured. Chastang, 27, was charged with felony theft and drug trafficking. Police suspect that Chastang is the trio's drug dealer.

"All of them conspired to steal the money," Cobb police officer Wayne Delk said. Because the bank teller was an accomplice in the crime, the girls will not be charged with bank robbery.
